WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP?

Oriental-Fantasy is a group dedicated to works of art related to or influenced by stories and folklore of the Orient(the east).

A couple of examples of such works maybe:
"a scene from the Arabian Nights" or "a depiction of the Chinese Zodiac"

WHO CAN JOIN?

Everyone!!!!! This group is for everyone who wants to enjoy an alternative fantasy world influenced by the East. It does not matter where you are from or what style of art you use in your own work. This is a truly GLOBAL GROUP

WHAT IS THE ORIENT?

The Orient is the east and it covers countries and regions starting from the eastern Mediterranean and Mesopotamia, through to the Middle-East, Near-East, Asia and the Far-East.

WHY THE ORIENTAL?

Western fantasy and folklore is widely available in DA and nearly everyone in the World is now familiar with the influence of Hollywood and the English Language.

We all love a story that separates us from the reality of our daily lives, and we all indeed enjoy and love Western fantasy, but wouldn't it be nice to find, learn and promote some of the lesser known fantasies of the orient and hopefully find our selves new, different and equally enjoyable stories to spread?

1. SUBMISSION LIMIT:

At the moment there are no limits to the number of submissions per day.

2. SEXUAL CONTENT:

Please lets try and make sure there is no over the top sexual scenes, nudity is ok but lets try and be sensible.

3. LEVEL OF QUALITY:

We do encourage every and all of you to submit your work but we are also looking for complete and finished works of art.

4. Folder Category:

Please submit to the correct category if you don't the work will be rejected asking for you to resubmit to the correct folder.

5. THE FEATURED FOLDER:

This is for only the best works of art so please make sure the quality is up to the standard before submitting to the featured folder.

6. FAVOURITES FOLDER:

You cannot suggest yourself as a favourite another group member has to suggest your work to be considered as a group favourite.

7. TYPE OF ART:

All types of art are accepted as long as they meet the above rules and the theme is related to the Orient as described above.
